Easy Easter Bunny Chow (Six Ingredients!)
This post has been sponsored by American Greetings. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This recipe is the perfect petite treat to gift to family and friends on Easter.
Requiring just six ingredients and a mere 15 minutes to make, there’s nothing not to love about this easy, breezy, pastel delight.
Unlike most other major holidays, gifting on Easter is a bit of a grey area. It’s hard to know what to buy, how to present it, and most of all – Will it be well received. So in order to ease my own Easter conundrums, I’ve settled on a fail-proof gifting formula that impresses every time.
A dainty portion of Easter bunny chow + a carefully curated Papyrus card!
It’s simple, effective, and makes any hostess feel special.
Proper gifting can be tricky, but what I do know is that a greeting card is a must – Without it, what’s the message? A gift with no card lacks sentiment, so I’ve gotten in the habit of pairing all my gifts with a Papyrus card. Readily available in the Target card section – the Tribeca location is my go-to! — Papyrus cards are consistently creative, meaningful, and fun. Target has endless options to choose from, ensuring that the perfect customized message is always available.
Plus – Are you SEEING how adorable these are? So much cuteness in one tiny enveloped package.
But before you pick out the perfect card, this bunny chow needs to be made. You start by melting white chocolate with a splash of coconut oil, then mixing it with vanilla pudding mix. Pour this concoction over rice chex cereal until evenly coated, then smother everything with powdered sugar. Stir once more, then lastly add in pastel chocolates!
In just 15 minutes you’ve got a delightful dessert that’s perfect for gifting, sharing, and spoiling your friends with.
Not to mention crazy delicious, completely adorable, and easy for any skill level to make.
A recipe like this is primed for creativity, so feel free to jazz up your own bunny chow with sprinkles, chocolate eggs, Jordan almonds, whatever! So long as it’s bright and cheery, you can’t go wrong. Personally I’m partial to gifting this in glass jars, because it’s basically two gifts in one – the chow (obviously), and the jar which can be used after. But there are countless ways this treat can be presented in a fun, fashionable way.
Inside mini wicker baskets? Adorable.
Poured into carrot-shaped candy bags? So thematic.
Paired with a bouquet of peonies? LOVE.
With a recipe this simple, you can really have fun with the presentation.
Just remember that the card is what ties it all together.
Target’s broad ranging card section helps me find the perfect card to match my chow’s personality. I love the floral-embellished egg for the prim & proper hostess, the bold & jolly chick for your Mom or sibling, and the delicate hanging eggs for a trip to the in-laws. No matter who you’re visiting Target + Papyrus ensures that your gift will be complete, meaningful, and heartfelt.
Not to mention sweet, just like this bunny chow. xo
